The legendary foursome The Ink Spots were indeed unforgettable. They had their biggest successes in the 30s and 40s, some of which are on this record. Their hit If I didn’t care made it to number 9 on the list of best selling singles of all time. The name Ink Spots was so unforgettable however, that everybody started to use it. Courtcases followed, and in 1967 a federal judge ruled that the name was in the public domain.

This record is an anthology of the original group, with recordings from the early period. The sweet songs have been used in many television show, or in film. The music was extensively used in the Fallout computer game franchise. I played that a lot, so the tunes are well known to me.
