The first album I heard from the Corries. I heard it on cassette, copied from another cassette. That must have been around 1995, and it took me a while to really buy the record. I found it on the website of the son of one of the singers, who is still hosting that website. My pressing is an original from the collection of Ronnie Browne, and he signed it himself. It came with a photograph of that signing session and a certificate of authenticity. A little cheesy, but it is still a nice touch to get a picture of it.
This is the first part of the live from Scotland series. Maybe it is because I know it for so long, but it still feels like it is the best of the four. The recordings were made in 1974 in the Glasgow City Halls, also the residence of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
