There are many reasons I can think of why this recording sound awesome to me. It can be the recording itself, it can be the pressing, it can be the moment I listen to it. Personally, I think it is the qualities of the pianist Ingrid Haebler that are most convincing. I can recommend to have a listen to this recording.
Haebler was born in Austria in either 1926 or 1929. After an early childhood in Poland, she had her first public appearance at age eleven in Salzburg. Between 1950 and 1980 she made most of her recordings, and she died in her nineties barely a year ago, in May 2023.
