Walther Reyer liest Walther von der Vogelweide

Discogs

This record was part of the German department of my old university. The listening to it now was the first time, and my German is not very good. I got it from a friend that was working for a while in a project downsizing the collection. There were a lot of books (and records it turns out) that were no longer needed because of reorganizations.

The other reason I got this record is because of Von der Vogelweide. I played a recurring character in a pen and paper role playing game (TTRPG it is called since Corona). He was the son of Walther (I won’t bother you with the details) and was called Otto. He was so much Otto that in hindsight I’m realizing Walther is a bit out of place: wasn’t he called Otto? Otto von der Vogelweide was better known to me than his father.
