The first album of the Scottish folk band The Corries in their most successful line up: a duo. A live album this time, which is what they excelled at. It comes right after Those Wild Corries, an album I wrote about before, that still has the founder Bill Smith. There are some early versions of songs that were re-recorded later.
This, and the aforementioned previous album, came out as par of the White Heather series. A small series of records dedicated to Scottish folk on the Fontana label. White Heather is a rare blend of whisky, if I can believe the adverts.
