Alexander Wesselsky and Noel Pix founded Eisbrecher (Ice-breaker) in 2003. Eisbrecher is one of the leading bands in the genre called (by the music press) Neue Deutsche Härte. The best known example of the genre is Rammstein, but others include Oomph!, Unheilig and this band.
The title of this 8th studio album from 2021 is written in two ways, and they mean something else in German: Liebe macht Monster (Love creates monsters) or Liebe Macht Monster (love, power, monsters). This is a case where I really detest the American habit of capitalising titles, and certainly Discogs forcing it down our throats.
I bought this record at a nice concert, after which I had to stand there, record in hand, for the rest of the evening. It was worth it though, and I got it signed.
