Spontaneous combustion

This album was released in 1976, a year after the big man himself died at a young age of 46. This is a compilation album, consisting of the best of two albums: the debut album Presenting Adderley and Bohemia after dark, both from 1955. Since both were released on the Savoy label, the compilation carries the title Savoy sessions.

Some question I have about this release: the online edition of this album is missing four out of twelve songs, one of the original albums was mono, so was that processed stereo? Also, the sides of the records are arranged A/D, B/C instead of the normal A/B/C/D. I cannot find that much about this record though. Sound and performance are both quite good, it is certainly recommended.
