According to Discogs, this recording is not sanctioned. Since the artist is no longer alive, and the proceeds coming out of his legacy will be going to the record company, I don’t really care. It is a bit odd that I found this record in a regular record shop: Fame.
I wrote about Fame earlier, and of all my records, this might be the last one I got from there. Fame doesn’t exist anymore. It suffered a slow miserable death. First it was no longer able to afford a price raise on the rent of their impressive location, then they moved to a commercially uninteresting location, and finally, as if matters could not get worse, it got smaller and smaller as a shop-in-shop in the basement of a electronics store. All of this happened before the record sales picked up. Before records are costing a stupendous 45 euro for an album.
