Berlin based LowSwing records is specialised in analogue recordings on vinyl. The label is small enough to get a personal touch from the owner: currently the total catalogue fits one page. Lowswing sessions is a collection of covers done in typical Fink way, acoustic and intimate. Combined with the philosophy of the label, this is quite an interesting release.
I bought mine in the local record store, but if I would have ordered it from the label’s website, I might have gotten my hands on the 2X45 RPM version. In my experience that would have been a better deal, both as investment (brrr) and in sound quality: more speed means more information per second, resulting simply in better sound.
Maybe also according to the wishes of its founder, these Lowswing sessions are hardly available on Spotify. I’ve added what I could find to this post, but it is just a small portion of what is on the record.
