Though this record is in worse state, I think it holds a better performance than the one from Richter I wrote about earlier. The recording is from a few years earlier, in 1960. Somehow it feels friendlier, less like it is a contest in virtuosity. If you compare the two performances, what do you think?
This record has not been totally finished at the record plant. It still has the uncut edges. Those are sharp!
