Vive la France

Good memories about this one. This is seventies in France. It is very dated, but still gives a nice overview of the status of chansons in that time. As with a lot of these collected stuff, there is no streaming available. All of this is readily available in all kinds of personal playlists though, so what is the use of a record like this nowadays?

I paid 3 euros, or the equivalent of that in guilders in 1992, second hand. Now it is worth 50 cents. If you want value for your collection, don’t go for this. It does have some entertaining liner notes however.

This was part one of a long series. Discogs mentions six published double albums, going until 1983. So it was very popular at the time. Anybody else remember this?
