A studio album from 1983, with lots of beautiful songs. These are not the kind of drinking party songs The Dubliners are mainly known for. There is more nostalgia on this album, which is probably why I think it is their best.
When I heard this the first time, Song for Ireland just blew me away. Now that I’m listening to it it sounds a bit repetitive. I’m afraid it didn’t survive over the years.
