Kiss wanted to make a point. The record company asked for a more commercial direction of the band, so they said they could do a disco tune in less than a day. The story goes, they did it in some hours after this bet.

I wonder where I can find those disco elements in this song. Maybe rock music has changed over the years, so much that I’m used to it by now. It is certainly different from whatever else Kiss was making in 1979. Within the band, only Paul Stanley liked it.
