A concept album about gambling, and gambling addiction. Having come at one point up close and personal with a gambling addict, I can concur this is a serious issue. Its not a good thing if all your fortune relies on the turn of a friendly card.
Sure I knew some of their other records, but I probably also bought this one because of the cover. I just love playing cards, and the design. And here a playing card is shown as if it is part of a religion.
