All I want to do is be on an island in the sun, where I wouldn’t have to worry how to get things done. Instead the singer is complaining about not getting money and having to work all day for people that get all the money. And then he gets lots of money from singing about it.
The sound of the second half of the eighties was considerably more positive than what was on the radio in the early eighties. Or maybe it is my own perception as my own life was a bit better in those days.
