Girls

The album from which this is coming from is in my opinion highly underestimated. I think it contains many beauties, of which this is one. It was written by David Bowie and drummed by Phil Collins. The text is referring to girls that behave like butterflies. We kiss, we come and go.

Tina Turners songs from this time always sound a bit mysterious to me. They have a mood of eager expectation. There is something in the air. When I first listened to this music I was studying for my high school exams, and I was distracted by a new found love. Eager expectation, sure.
