Vangelis is well known for his music scores for film and tv. This is one of them, for a tv series on wildlife by the French documentary director Frédéric Rossif. The 22 episodes of the series were shown on tv between 1975 and 1981.
Rossif is a name well known among Vangelis fans. The two worked together many times, and Rossif also made a documentary about the Greek composer. Rossif is probably best known for his wildlife documentaries, but there are a lot of historical documentaries on his name as well.
Strictly instrumental tracks here, and personally not really my taste. Opinions vary on this album, of course.
