It would have been quite the experience to see the Amália Rodrigues live. The live concert I once saw by Cristina Branco in the Concertgebouw was nice, but the then pregnant Cristina couldn’t hold a candle to the the (real) Queen of fado.
I don’t see this title on the discography lists I find online. It is from 1979, and France. Maybe other countries has this under a different title? Or, more exciting, was this an early bootleg? Someone with a handheld recorder sneaking into the theatre to make this? Probably not, the recording quality is too good for that.
