Quarter moon in a ten cent town

Emmylou Harris’ fifth studio album from 1978. It bridges her solo period with the more country style she used later. It has some highlights, one of which is the first track, I think. It was written by Susanna Clark, who also created the painting on the cover.

This is the first record I bought in a shop called Recordfriend. That deserves mentioning, because I have bought a considerable amount of records there since (quick calculation: 236 records). Certainly at the beginning the shop was characterised by the fact that it is housed in a basement, and it was staffed by a bearded man that was a bit cranky. When I talked to him though, he turned out to be a good guy.
