It is quite a big step from my previous posts’ classical music to Norwegian synthpop, but there you go. The second album and the last one to feature the band as a trio. After this album synth programmer Geir Jenssen left the band to go solo. The bel canto voice is from Anneli Drecker, who also worked with a-ha and Röyksopp.
The acquisition of this record might have been the result of some dates I had with a girl that was really into this. I liked the clean, dreamy sound of the music, so I bought it. Listening to it now gives me that same feeling: nice clean sound that really behaves well on my setup.
