I wrote earlier about this very same recording. This version however, somehow just doesn’t sound that great. It might be that I’ve just heard the Argerich version of the second suite, and it makes me realize how much better it is performed. And then this one comes along, and I’m just disappointed. I don’t remember that from the previous record though.
This record is still one of the collection of a friend. I suppose I should have noticed I already have it. As it is, I didn’t and here we are. Anyone have some space for this one? Maybe not after my not so good review of it…
