You know, this is not even a hidden pleasure. It might be hidden if it were, it’s just not a pleasure. It is a curiosity though: when I was young this was a thing. The girlband Luv’ (what does the apostrophe at the end stand for?) was a short lived sensation in 1979. This is their first album.
Soon after the last one of the three girls, and they have been struggling ever since. This might have been caused by the never ending stream of gutter articles that plagued the band. Only the hardcore fans were taking them seriously after that.
Patty Brard, the one leaving the band, started a long row of entertainment shows on commercial television that always made me wonder what is so interesting about her. Maybe it was all made for the fans of that first hour: fans of this album.
