戦術 (Senjutsu), means tactics in Japanese. It is the title of the 17 studio album of British metal band Iron Maiden. The artwork is made by Mark Wilkinson, who is known for his work for Marillion and Judas Priest. He had some difficulty creating the portrait of band mascot Eddie is a elaborate samurai costume. Instead he added a helmet that still showed the red warpaint on the cyborg’s face.
The lead single of the album is The writing on the wall: a repetitive Bruce Dickinson creation that I think is the worst of the album. I probably made angered most fans with that, but its my opinion. On the other end of the scale is the rest of the album. I was positively surprised with this album when it came out, and I still think it is one of their better releases.
