This singer was tipped to me as a result of seeing a concert that was totally different. There must have been a connection between the concert and this Devil, but I never found it. The humour in his rather disturbing lyrics stayed with me though. A few romantic lines:

I’ve seen him once in Haarlem, I enjoyed it very much. He is one of the few singers in neofolk that doesn’t take himself too seriously.
Amigo the Devil is the stagename of Danny Kiranos. Kiranos was born from a Greek father and Spanish mother, in Miami Florida. His strange career included a film school to study horror movies, a culinary school and a brewery. He was living in San Fransisco when he started as Amigo the Devil.
