Queen’s fourth studio album and easily their most popular. It opens with a hate song to Queen’s manager for the first three albums. The band didn’t get any money from those albums, but was instead living on a weekly stipend of 60 pound. This led to Freddy Mercury choosing different management and steering the band to richer waters.
Nevertheless, it might have been the most expensive record produced at the time, costing the current equivalent of about half a million euro. With that money they created an album with very different styles, and containing the famous Bohemian Rhapsody.
