So what do you do after having listened to Wagner for four and a half hours? You listen to the wake up call of the Wagner of musicals Meat Loaf. The second album of Meat Loaf, that was actually meant as a followup of the Bat out of hell album.
But Meat Loaf was in trouble, the infamous drug use habit of the eighties got him bad. He lost his voice as a result, so it took him a while to get up and running again. This album is the result when he did.
The cover is from horror comic artist Bernie Wrightson. I think he added an image of Eddie from Iron Maiden in there.
