Meat Loaf’s third album was contractually obliged, but came at a bad moment. He had a little argument with his writer Jim Steinman. Meat Loaf’s record company refused to pay writer Jim, who gave the big singer two songs that he then gave to Bonnie Tyler and Air Supply. Now Meaty had to do the writing himself.

And he was very discontent with the result. As was the rest of the world. Even the cover is not what we have come to expect from him. This is not the best of him, even though the title track was included on his best of album.

But we have an inner sleeve, yay.
