Bach – Violinkonzerte

A ‘legendary treasure’ by a totally unknown conductor and an equally unknown violinist. Alexander Krannhals was the principal conductor of the Badische Staatskapelle. He was born in Switzerland in 1908, but was mainly active in Germany.

From what I can find, this recording was made in 1960, and he died the next year. He wasn’t that old I should think.
