Modern girl

I just like the cover of this single, nothing more. For me, this is how beautiful women looked in the eighties: lots of hair, and a bit wild. The song itself is a bit too much repetitive for my taste. Modern girl is the hit for Meat Loaf’s 1984 Bad attitude album.

It is not written by the writer that made him so famous: Jim Steinman. Instead it is a song from two old timers from his former theatre group the National Lampoon. Yes, that is the group that also made some very tasteless movies in that time.

I’m not saying Modern girl is tasteless, I just think it is a bit repetitive. But I said that already.
