No, it wasn’t. The B-side refers to that I think: Miserabilism. An ill fated disco attempt by the Pet Shop Boys, appearing on their greatest hits album in 1991. I wonder where you get the guts from to call a song greatest hit before it is a hit. Cynical minds can claim you create a hit, it is all just marketing. But to put it out there like that, I’ve always found weird.
I do like the little puppets on the cover though.
