My, and Vangelis’ second recording with Jon Anderson. The first creation was not really a success, but hey found each other, and made a second baby. And I still don’t know who Mr Cairo is. The eponymous song is a fascinating collection of samples though. They refer to classic movies from the thirties and forties.
Of course everybody knows I’ll find my home, and State of independence. But the other songs are also not to be missed. If you don’t like the voice of Jon Anderson, skip this one.
This is the second edition of the album. There was one published in the same year, without I’ll find my way home. It has a beautiful cover that is worth a look. I did see it a couple of times on the market.
