So, I decided to do my 45rpms as well. A lot of them are quite special to me, and some have nice stories.
Not so this one. The song is well known (my gf denied knowing it at first, but she recognised it at the first sounds. And she’s coming from the other side of the world). I heard it on the radio, liked it, and bought the record in the local recordstore. Was this the time I could afford buying my own records?
In listening to this record I heard a whole lot more than I was remembering. The mix contains a lot more bass than I heard before. This is also why I do this: I wanted to re-listen to my collection on the new record player. Yay, success. I will add posts on the record players themselves later.
