Big hit in 1989. I probably found out in 1990, which is when I bought this record. A single, so it ran only for a couple of minutes. Imagine that now, in digital times!
My local recordstore by the way was a hifi shop called Van Amerongen. It was the kind of shop that had it all: they sold audio equipment (I got my first tapedeck there), they sold photography materials (I bought my film rolls, but also did my developing there), they sold tapes (I bought loads of TDK), and also, they sold records. This was my one stop shop for everything I liked.
They have moved to a different location now, but the shop looks also more like a luxury audio shop. No tapes anymore.
