The medieval, reconstructed version of the Carmina Burana. I wrote about Orff’s version some time ago, which is the twentieth century version based on the manuscripts. This recording is more historically correct. A well performed, nice recording.
I cannot find if René Clemencic is still alive. He is from 1928, so that would make him rather old. The Dutch wikipedia page is talking about him as one of the pioneers of the historical informed performance movement. In the past. But then it doesn’t show any dates. Weirdly the Dutch page is more informed than the English. Usually that is the other way.
