Innsbruck, ich muß dich lassenß-Dich-Lassen-Chormusik-Der-Renaissance

In the early 2000s I used to visit choral concerts in a small church here in the neighbourhood. It was amazing. This kind of music is hard to reproduce on a record. Works like this are rich in tonal reach, contain a lot of subtlety that somehow gets lost outside of the live performance.

The title of this record refers to the song of the same name by Heinrich Isaak, a fifteenth century composer from what is now Belgium. While I was a student I have sung this with a small group. That was quite the experience.
