One of two songs from the film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I missed that hype, but not the songs. Tina Turner did a good job with that. More interestingly, the song is written and composed by Holly Knight. A New York based song writer with an impressive list of works to her name.
Lots of Tina Turner songs, like The Best, Better be good to me. But also Pat Benatar’s Love is a battlefield. She also wrote for Kiss, Aerosmith, ABBA’s Agnetha Fältskog, Dusty Springfield and Kim Wilde. And of special interest to me as I like the series, she wrote the theme music for Joss Whedon’s Angel.
