The second album of Dutch folkband Fungus, released in 1975. Fungus started in 1972, playing folk songs with electric guitar. They existed until 1979, but had their best time in the early parts of the decade. According to the wiki site, they themselves felt more like a pop band, instead of those stuffy folk musicians.

Reading this on the wiki page makes me think of that famous disappointment about Bob Dylan ‘going electric’ in 1965, almost ten years earlier. I kind of understand the feeling. I have seen bands change over time, sometimes not in a good way in my opinion. Fungus never pretended to be anything else though. And maybe the folk scene could use a bit of electricity in those years.

I really don’t like the voice of singer Fred Piek though. Much to nasal for my taste.
