Hans Dorrestein is a writer and stand-up comedian that is known for his dark humour. He wrote for many other comedians, but also for children’s shows like Sesame Street. This is his third album, from 1987. This is about the time I saw him in the theatre of Haarlem. His humour might not be for everyone, but I love it.
The parts that I like most are the fake news items from the DPA. The abbreviation stands for Dorresteins Pers Agentschap, a non existing press agency. The news items exist of very unlikely events, that are funny in some way. He also published them in a book in 1986. Weirdly, there is an Egyptian version of his wikipedia page.
