The abbey of Kergonan in Brittany, France is one of the better places to go to for Gregorian chant. They have made some really nice recordings in the seventies. This one contains songs that are sung at Easter.
I got this and the following few records from quite an unlikely place. Friends’ collections are usually not that good. Especially classical music suffers from that, because there are not many people that know what to buy. So most collections contain bad quality performances and bargain records. Not so this one: there were some great records in here.
